Near our vacation apartments you can find “The path of the iguanas” or small Jurassic Park in the Rodadero, as usually they call it, an attraction with hundreds of iguanas in a completely enclosed area in mesh. The animals receive various goodies and fruit, under the eyes of visitors surprised and delighted.

The beautiful Rodadero beaches are located at the north end of the Department of Magdalena near Gaira Bay between Cerro de Ziruma and Gaira Valley, just 5 kilometers from the center of Santa Marta city and extends from the Morro de Gaira to the mouth of the Gaira River. Born with the name Bay Tamaca (in honor of the homonymous “cacique”), later made popular by the name “El Rodadero” due to its geographical conditions.

Rodadero is preferred by local, national and international visitors, for its beautiful beaches of white sand of medium texture will not stick to the body after bathing.
